Those Who Served

those_who_served_575.jpg

Only 79, 989 people lived in Palm Beach County in 1940. More than 1.3 million currently reside there now. This phenomenal growth is due in no small part to the activities centered here during World War II. What follows is but a sampling of stories of those Palm Beach County residents who served their country during the conflict either in the military, civil defense organizations, or both. We honor the “greatest generation.”

Names will be added as more information is compiled. So check back often.
